Here’s a few “animated desktops.”

These are made by doing incremental changes on the desktop and then doing a screen grab. The resulting TGA files are then brought into PREVIEW and hand-rolled.

And these are all meant to LOOP.

It’s dimensions are: 833 X 6396, so you may want to download it.

I don’t intend that you “read along” with the comments, although it may be easier to understand “71″ that way.

If I were to install this, I’d play “71″ on a loop, and print the comment thread its “real size” and stick it to the wall, far away from the source of the audio.

This is an old robot informational video which I exported as frames, and then hand advanced the frames in Preview picture viewing software while the soundtrack played and I tried to keep the pictures in synch with the sound.

This is a road-film I shot on my cell phone camera in the summer of ‘04.

Each segment is made of approximately 50 edits. The phone could only record between 5 and 10 second clips. These clips have been ordered, but not shortened or effected.

The audio track is taken from the clips themselves. The main drone noise is the actual sound of a sandstorm.

This is a mandala created out of all of the Star Wars Kid videos. I made it in 2004.
